Troubling accusations against a Palm Beach County School District employee, who's the husband of an elementary school principal.
Detectives tell CBS 12 News that 54-year-old Norman Riemer molested two six-year old girls, claiming it was a science experiment.
He allegedly allowed them to touch his privates and he touched one of them, before they eventually told a trusted adult.
"Listening is so critical. Talking to your kids, though, is also critical. We can't pretend that if we don't talk about these things, they're not going to happen. That's the worst thing we can do is to not talk about these things."
Amanda Altman is CEO of Kristi House, a children's advocacy center in Miami-Dade. She says grooming takes many different faces.
"It's a secret, right? It's our secret. It's a secret between you and me. Maybe it's a game that we're going to play. Maybe it's an experiment that we're going to do. And whatever you do, don't tell. But I love you. This is what people do when they love each other."
Riemer works in the school district's main office and NOT in a classroom.
He is listed as a "secondary science instructional specialist" but the district notes that they are in the process of terminating him.
Riemer's wife Barbara Riemer is the principal at Whispering Pines Elementary School in Boca Raton and deputies say she lives with her husband in the home where the crimes occurred.
